Martial Raysse is always on the lookout for the present. Center Pompidou's retrospectives in 2014 and the Palazzo Grassi in 2015 showed how his work is all the more fascinating because it seems in constant evolution or mutation. All his practices, drawing, painting, sculpture, or even cinema, are the emanation of a way of being in the world: “You have to understand that I am a poet first and foremost. I have poetic emotions, which translate by putting them into images, a bit like a developing picture.
FIGURES SEULES
July 1 - September 24, 2023
The exhibition Figures Seules, presented at Lee Ufan's Espace MA in Arles from July 1 to September 24, 2023, brings together works by five artists working in France - Brigitte Aubignac, Ymane Chabi-Gara, Marc Desgrandchamps, Tim Eitel and Djamel Tatah - on the theme of the human figure.
